Healthy Apple Crumble – Video

Apple Crumble


You will need:

2 Large Green Apples

½ cup Raw Almonds

½ Cup Raw Walnuts

½ Cup Desiccated Coconut

¼ Fresh Lemon

2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

1 Tsp Cinnamon

Pink Himalayan Salt



– Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius

– Dice your apples roughly (skin on) into cubes and place in a bowl

– Over the apples, squeeze on a quarter of fresh lemon juice and 1 Tbsp of Pure Maple Syrup. Toss together using a spoon until apples are coated

– Pour into a shallow baking dish and spread evenly

– Bake in oven for 10 minutes

– While the apples are baking, in a food processor, lightly process the walnuts and almonds until they form a crumble. This could take only seconds depending on the power of the processor. Alternatively, finely dice using a sharp knife

– Place into a bowl. Add in the coconut, cinnamon, salt and 1 Tbsp of maple syrup. Toss together

– Pour on top of the apples, and spread evenly. Return to oven for another 15 minutes

– Serve immediately
